Number 250

Number 250 is a mandolin with an asymmetrical 2-point body and "cat eye" sound holes. The body is shedua (AKA ovangkol) and the top is Sitka spruce. Trim is Ceylon satinwood and ebony with shedua pick guard and arm rest. The arch top and flat back create a rich, bright tone. Fancy inlay and antique brass hardware complete the the ornate appearance. Scale is 13.75 inches. My usual structural features (truss rod, zero fret, adjustable and removable neck joint, side port, etc.).
