A mandocello in chechen with Port Orford cedar top. Trim is wild maple veneer with cream plastic bindings. Scale is long (670 mm or 26.4") so the strings don't have to be quite as super-heavy as standard, and the tone is more complex. All my usual features - removable/adjustable neck, internal compression brace, etc. The high notes are clear and pure, mid-range smooth, and the low C strings measure about 5.2 on the Richter scale!
