Number 249 is a tenor guitar with the tail piece mounted on a stick running through the body and a super light cross-braced sound board. This is a very stable construction producing quick response and a powerful tone. The body is curly maple and the top is western red cedar. The open head stock, brown slash marquetry and muted colors combine for a unique appearance. Scale is 550 mm. My usual structural features (truss rod, zero fret, side port, adjustable neck, etc.).
