Number 219

This is a 10-string long-scale instrument, which may be tuned DGDAD as a "cittern" for diatonic Irish tunes, or CGDAE for classical play as a "liuto cantabile" (as favored by Rafaele Calace). The body is curly black acacia and sound board is Sitka spruce. Trim, pick guard and arm rest are cocobola rosewood. Scale is 25" or 635mm. A balanced, medium-bright tone and plenty of volume create a versatile instrument for any style.
