This is an octave mandolin made on commission. The owner liked #195 at a festival, but it was already sold, so this one uses the same short scale (480mm), strings (d'Addario EFT76 flat wound madola), and bracing pattern. Plus a new asymmetrical 2-point body shape, arm rest and headstock. Body is curly walnut, top is Engelman spruce, and trim is walnut with blue dyed veneer lines.
