Number 202

#202 is a tenor guitar, currently tuned GDAE (Irish tenor tuning), but CGDA would work equally well. Body is American sycamore and the top is redwood. Trim is comatillo rosewood and kingwood veneer, with bois d'rose fingerboard. Inlay is white and black mother of pearl on fingerboard and head. Scale is 560mm or about 22".

The tone is clean and pure, not lush or muddy, with great clarity and projection. All the usual features - adjustable bolt-on neck joint, truss rod, internal compression brace, sealed Gotoh mini tuners with ebony knobs. Very easy to play with the narrow neck and low action.
