Number 208 is a flat top mandolin made on commission. The owner travels frequently and wanted something easy to dis-assemble for stowing in a carry-on bag. The neck detaches quickly by loosening two bolts, and the tailpiece has a cover held in place by a magnet to secure the loop end strings. A successful experiment, the sound is crisp and full.
