#203 is a 4-string mandolin. Most mandolins have 8 strings in pairs. A 4-string version is lighter and very easy to play with its narrow neck, especially for fast single-note melodic play.

The sound is clean and clear, maybe less comples and an 8 string. This istrument is constructed very lightly of sycamore, madrone and red cedar, with ebody trim. It has an adjustable bolt-on neck with carbon fiber reinforcement but no truss rod. Has an adjustable bolt-on neck and sealed Gotoh mini-tuners. Great fun to play once you adjust to the single strings.
