This is an archtop oval-body Mandolin with curly maple body and Sitka spruce top with F-holes. The top has asymmetrical X bracing, giving a slightly more mellow tone but still punchy enough for bluegrass.

Construction features include the usual user-friendly bolt-on neck. The neck has a modern 2-way adjustable truss rod, and the bridge is adjustable. Gold Grover 18:1 micro-tuners provide easy tuning.

Decoration includes exotic Chechen rosewood head plate and finger-rest, ebony binding, and pearl inlays. The finish of buffed gloss lacquer over reddish-golden stain highlights the curly maple and spruce.
