Number 52
This is an arch-top flat-back mandolin in lacewood with a Sitka
spruce top. It has F-holes and a pointy body shape.
The top has tone-bar bracing and the back has an X brace.
The bolt-on neck has a modern 2-way adjustable truss rod.
The binding is ebony, and the peghead shape echoes the upper
point or "horn" on the body. Gold hardware, a lacewood
pick guard and simple abalone inlays complete the refined look.
Note: The pick guard depicted in the photos was changed to one which
attaches to the neck and has no screws visible on the top, at
the request of the buyer.
