This is an oval hole, arch-top, flat-back mandolin made of Indian rosewood with
Engelmann spruce top. Finish is buffed water-base lacquer.
Structurally it has X braces on both top and bottom.
It has a modern 2-part truss rod, bolted on thin neck, and thumb wheels to
adjust the bridge height.
The elevated pick guard is Indian rosewood to match the body.
Neck is mahogany, bindings are ebony with beech veneer edging.
The headplate is ebony with inlaid massaranduba wood design.
Hardware is nickel plated to complete the cool color scheme.
A nice pure tone, good for classical or Celtic music.
