This is more or less a copy of a 1920's Regal tenor guitar, which I made on commission. The top is Engelman spruce and the body and neck are American black walnut. The floating bridge exerts some downward pressure on the top, but the string break angle is very shallow, only about 5 degrees. The sound is very "tubby" and old fashioned.
