Number 252 is an octave mandolin with an asymmetrical 2-point body and oval sound hole. The body is walnut and the sound board is Engelmann spruce. Trim is mostly walnut with maple veneer edges. The arch top and flat back create a rich, powerful tone. Tan stone inlay harmonizes with the walnut and dark stained top. Scale is 19.5 inches. My usual structural features (truss rod, zero fret, adjustable and removable neck joint, side port, etc.). Price includes soft case, fits nicely in baby Taylor gig bag.
