This is a 10-string "cittern" made on commission. Body is Indian rosewood, the soundboard is western red cedar, and scale length is 24". The customer specified unison strings on the loudest course, but octave pairs on the G and (middle) D courses. There are two internal carbon fiber struts between head and tail blocks to resist the tension of 10 strings.
