Number 194

Number 194 is an archtop Irish bouzouki of South African afzalia with European spruce top and chechen trim with black veneer edges. Neck is sapele, similar to mahogany but harder. Scale 645 mm. Very loud, rich tone with clarity and lots of sustain.

All of my instruments feature an adjustable bolt-on neck for maintainability, a "neck reset" is now a user operation. Arm rest, neck and pick guard do not contact the top, allowing free vibration. Zero fret for super low action. Modern 2-way truss rod together with two carbon fiber bars in neck, slim rounded-V neck profile. Internal carbon fiber brace from head to tail block. Side Port allows you to hear what you're doing. Tail Piece accepts ball end strings, available singly at any guitar shop. Currently tuned unison G-D-A-D but G-D-A-E works fine, could be octave pairs if desired. Foam and canvas "lite case" included.
