A 9-string long scale cittern or mandocello made of sycamore with Sitka spruce top. Basically this is a 10-string with a single low string to keep the neck narrower. It can be tuned CGDAE as an extended mandocello, or DGDAD as an Irish cittern. Cocobolo trim with veneer edges completes a sumptuous look. An attached arm rest keeps the player's arm from contacting the top. All the usual features like removeable/adjustable neck and internal carbon fiber compression brace. This is a powerful instrument for Celtic or classical mandocello playing.
