A basic octave mandolin (or tenor mandola) in mahogany with Western red cedar top. Slight upgrades include top binding, adjustable bridge, and elevated pick guard. Construction is the same as my more expensive instruments, with modern 2-way truss rod, bolt on adjustable neck, and compression brace. Scale length is 520 mm.

Tone is full and rich - this instrument is reasonably priced, but a definite upgrade from factory made instruments.
