This is an arch-top octave mandolin with a 3/4-size guitar body. The body is curly maple and the top is western red cedar. The head veneer, pick guard and tail piece are maple burl. The maple edge bindings with black veneer edges and black tuners complete an elegant appearance. Scale is 540 mm or 21-1/4".

Construction features include the usual user-friendly bolt-on neck, modern 2-way adjustable truss rod, carbon fiber internal compression brace, and tone-bar bracing of the top.

The tone is full and rich but with the crisp clarity you would expoct from an arch-top.
