This is an arch top bouzouki built on commission for Steve Colby. The body is Indian rosewood and the top is red spruce. It has an even, mellow sound, and Steve is using it constantly as he performs with his group Oceans Apart.

Construction features include the usual user-friendly bolt-on neck and X bracing of the top. The neck has a modern 2-way adjustable truss rod.

Decoration includes Celtic knot inlays, and bindings of black ebony with maple veneer lines framing the rosewood. The finish is buffed gloss KTM-9 water based lacquer.

The tail piece shown in photos was an experimental design which failed. I made a new tail piece in such a hurry that I didn't take a photo of it!
